// Onward Counseling — Telehealth · Texas
You don't need all the answers. You just need a direction — and someone to help you find it.
// Waypoints
No matter where you are on the map, there's a next step. Here's where most people are when they reach out.
WP-01
You know something needs to change but can't figure out what. We work through what's holding you in place and build momentum toward where you want to be.
WP-02
The mental noise won't quiet down. Together, we find practical tools — not just coping strategies — to get your bearings and reduce the pressure.
WP-03
Career shifts. Relationship changes. Loss. Big transitions can knock you off course. Counseling helps you navigate with clarity and confidence.
WP-04
Who are you outside of your roles? This isn't a mid-life cliché — it's a real question. We work through it without the judgment or the jargon.
WP-05
The same friction keeps showing up — at work, at home, with yourself. We identify the pattern, understand it, and figure out how to change course.
WP-06
A space where you don't have to translate yourself. For men who are ready to deal with what's actually going on — practically and directly.

LPC-ASSOCIATE · TX #99375
Before becoming a counselor, I spent years in professional kitchens — where calm under pressure, clear thinking, and problem-solving under real conditions aren't optional. That background shapes how I show up in the room with clients.
I'm not here to tell you what you want to hear. I'm here to help you figure out what's actually going on — and what to do about it. Counseling with me feels more like a working session than a venting session. All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth — no commute, no waiting room, just a real conversation from wherever you are.
// The Route
No month-long intake process. No "tell me about your childhood" on session one. We get to work.
A 10–15 minute video call to make sure we're a good fit. No pressure, no pitch. Click the link, enter the waiting room, and we'll take it from there — no download required.
First sessions are about understanding the terrain — what's working, what isn't, and where you actually want to go. We build a direction together.
We work the route. That means honest conversations, practical tools, and adjusting course when needed — not just talking about the same things every week.
// Common Questions
"I'm not sure I'm 'bad enough' to need counseling."
Most people who come in aren't in crisis. They're functioning — but something feels off, stuck, or unclear. You don't need to hit bottom to benefit from having a good navigator.
"I've tried talking to people before and it didn't help."
Venting isn't counseling. If previous conversations left you feeling heard but no different, that's worth naming. My approach is built around movement, not just processing.
"What if I don't know what I want to work on?"
That's a fine place to start. In fact, "I don't know where I am" is exactly when a compass is most useful. We'll find the starting point together.
"Is everything really confidential?"
Yes — with narrow legal exceptions (serious harm to yourself or others, court orders). What happens in session stays in session. That's not a slogan, it's law.
